Victoria Maynard

Victoria combines consultancy and teaching with completing a PhD at University College London. After training as an architect, Victoria became involved in post-disaster housing reconstruction and completed a Masters in Development and Emergency Practice. Her current research focuses on people-centred housing reconstruction including participatory approaches and the relationship between housing and home-based work.

Elizabeth Parker
M.Arch, MA, APM
Elizabeth’s work has focused on urban resilience, regeneration, participatory design and humanitarian response across a range of geographies since completing her MA in Development and Emergency practice at Oxford Brookes University. Originally trained as an architect, Elizabeth has over 15 years of research and consultancy experience including working for Arup International Development and most recently as the Evaluation and Learning Principal at UK-based charity and think tank NPC.

Dr Colin Rose
MA (Cantab), BArch, EngD, ARB
Colin is an architect, a Research Fellow at UCL and a Strategic Advisor at ReLondon. He won Ramboll’s 2020 Flemming Bligaard Award for his research on the circular economy, having completed his Engineering Doctorate at UCL. Colin is a Public Practice Alumnus (2020-22) and practised architecture at Haworth Tompkins (2004-2013), working on multiple award-winning projects. Colin studied at Cambridge University and qualified as an architect in 2009.

Naomi Ferguson
MA (Cantab), Architect
Naomi combines running a small architectural practice based in northern Spain with community engagement consultancy on projects in the UK. In her design work she explores restoring and repurposing buildings and the role in this process that natural materials, such as lime plasters, mud, timber and straw can play alongside industrially processed low carbon footprint materials.
